Anne Nikitin is an Ivor Novello and Emmy-nominated composer known for her versatile approach when creating unique sound worlds spanning a range of genres across film and television.
Recent credits include the Starz/Lionsgate period drama Dangerous Liaisons; the Netflix nature series Our Universe; the Netflix young adult fantasy series Fate: The Winx Saga; and the Emmy-winning Hulu/Disney+ series The Dropout starring Amanda Seyfried as notorious Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. She is currently scoring Hijack, an Apple + thriller starring Idris Elba.
Recent movies include Mother’s Instinct starring Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathway; the Sci-Fi thriller I.S.S. starring Ariana DeBose; and the Netflix feature documentary The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes.
She is best known for her collaborations with director Bart Layton on his critically-acclaimed heist movie AMERICAN ANIMALS and his BAFTA-winning film The Imposter. Other credits include Matt Palmer’s Calibre starring Jack Lowden, lauded by Stephen King; Lost Girls starring Amy Ryan and Gabriel Byrne; the family fantasy movie Four Kids And It based on Jacqueline Wilson’s novel starring Sir Michael Caine and Russell Brand; Untouchable: The Rise And Fall Of Harvey Weinstein which garnered an Emmy nomination for Best Score; and the Sky Drama series Little Birds based on the erotic stories of Anaïs Nin, for which she won a Music+Sound Award.
In 2017, Anne scored artist Damien Hirst’s high-concept feature documentary Treasures Of The Wreck For The Unbelievable and provided music for his breath-taking, critically acclaimed exhibition of the same name in Venice.
Her lucky break came in 2006 when she won the BBC New Talent, New TV Composers scheme and went on to compose scores for major UK and US broadcasters.
Olly Blackburn is an award-winning film director and screenwriter. He trained as a historian and after spending time as a journalist and copywriter found himself working in feature films, television, and commercials.
His films have played at major festivals including Telluride, Sundance, Edinburgh, Austin, and London. In TV drama Olly’s work ranges from tough contemporary thrillers like Amazon’s The Widow and StartUp, to the human drama of Jack Thorne’s Glue and period pieces like Victoria and Andrew Davies’ adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sanditon.
Drew Schnurr is a composer, performer, and cross-disciplinary artistic researcher.
As a composer for media, Drew has produced music and sonic branding for numerous world brands and media conglomerates. He is also an active concert composer and sound artist with a diverse range of international commissions and exhibits.
Drew is an Assistant Professor of Composition and Media at the University of North Texas where he leads the media composition program and is the founder and director of the Division of Composition Studies Collaboration HUB initiative.
